When MGS4 came out…
I didn’t leave my house for a week. I still had school during that time, it was the last week to be precise. I remember there was no midnight launch, but some friends and I still went to Gamestop at 12 and waited 10 hours sitting there. Pretty stupid, but we reminisced on MG overall. It was one of the most nerdy, memorable nights of my life. We we’re also playing MGS:PO while we waited, which was a blast.
In 2 days, that will be 4 years ago since that happened. I started off high school with it and ended with it now that MGO is going offline. I completed MGS4 over 50 times and have so much time in MGO that it’s not even funny. It finally hit me today that time is going by fast, and MGS4 was the thing that made me realize it.
Damn.
